Abstract

ABSTRACT
The relocation of the Indonesian National Capital (IKN) was carried out as
one of the reasons for realizing equitable development in Indonesia. The
centralization of development in the Java region makes the distribution of existing
development in Indonesia unstable so that the establishment of East Kalimantan as
the new Capital of the Archipelago (IKN) can be one of the solutions for equitable
development in Indonesia. The road project area to the ASN office building in the
National Capital City (IKN) has an area of 37,289 km2 located in North Penajam
Paser Regency. The objectives of this study were as follows, knowing the land
elevation in the road project area to the ASN office building, knowing the
classification of terrain types on the contour map of the road project area to the
ASN office based on the road geometric plan and knowing the volume of
excavations and piles on the road project plan to the ASN office.
The methodology used in this research is to process data that has been
obtained in the field using 3D civil software so that the condition of the area is
obtained in the form of contour maps. Then a road trase design is made and
determines the classification of terrain after which the volume of piles and
excavations is calculated.
Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, the author obtained
conclusions that can be drawn from this study as follows, the elevation condition in
the road project area to the ASN office building obtained the highest elevation of
36 masl and the lowest elevation of 11 masl, the road terrain classification obtained
a value of 10.014% or hilly area and the total volume of excavation amounted to
711311,5 m3 and the volume of piles amounted to 2687193 m3
.
